Who We Are

Transparency. Community. Change.

TransparencyWith Christ and one another.

Our relationship with Jesus should be raw and honest. He knows everything, so it’s worth telling Him everything. It is this practice of transparency with the Father that opens an intimate and tangible relationship with meaningful implications for our lives.

We open ourselves up to others. We are called to be transparent with one another. Not to lie about anything. When we lie, we say that the person we are lying to doesn’t deserve the truth, therefore devaluing that person. So we strive to be transparent in our relationships.

We desire to be transparent from the church organization to it’s congregation. We adhere to be transparent with the scriptures, our pursuits, and our finances.

Community – With Christ and one another.

Being in community with Christ means we strive to be in His word, in prayer, and in remembrance of what He has done for us.

Having community with one another means we share in each others lives. We invest in each other and we lift each other up as Christ has called us to treat one another.

Change – From Christ to us and through us.

We desire to change the world around us. But in order to do so, we must first see what needs to be changed in our own lives. We believe that Christ changes us from the inside out to draw us close to Him and to show others the change in us.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 ESV  “(15) The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. (16) But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display His perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in Him for eternal life. (17) To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”

– We partner with organizations both locally and globally to help bring about positive change reflecting the glory of God.

What We Believe

About the Scriptures – We believe the entire bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the spirit of God to write the words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

About God – We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit . We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the savior of the lost world.

About Humanity – We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

About Salvation – We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. We believe that Jesus was resurrected after 3 days and is at the right hand of the Father.

About the Christian Life – We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

About the Church – We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ on the cross. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making Him known to the lost world.

About The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit was given at the day of Pentecost and enters every believer through the surrender to Jesus as Lord. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and guides, teaches and strengthens.
